Improves balance, stretches arms and back, strengthens legs and core.
Begin in Downward Facing Dog.
Step one foot forward, between your hands.
Lower your back knee to the ground, and rest the top of your foot on your mat.
Lift your hands up to the sky, keeping your palms facing each other.
Hold this pose for a couple of breaths, then lower your hands to the floor and press back into Downward Facing Dog.
Repeat on your opposite side.
To encourage breathing in this pose, pretend to breathe fire or describe the castle your dragon is guarding.
