Focus Your Energy

Use this quick and easy flow to help children settle down before naps or focus for class.

This sequence works as an excellent “brain break”, and will help children refocus their energy and calm their body and mind.

Begin in Table Pose.

Curl your toes under, and lift your body into Downward Facing Dog.

Lift one leg into Three Legged Dog Pose, then lower it.

Repeat on the opposite side.

Keep your hands on your mat, and walk your feet forward.

Straighten your legs, and let your body relax into Ragdoll Pose.

Slowly bring yourself to sitting on your mat, and let your mind think happy thoughts.

You may sit in Easy Pose for as long as you like.

Bring your hands to heart center in Salutation Seal, and smile.
