Giraffe Pose


Strengthens bones, increases coordination and balance, stretches arms and chest.

Step 1

Begin in Table Pose.

Step 2

Keep one hand on your mat, and reach your other hand up to the sky.

Step 3

Hold this pose for a couple of breaths.

Step 4

Return your hand to your mat, then repeat on your opposite side.


To help hold this pose and breath, reach for the highest leaves on the treetop and make little munching noises!
