I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie

Tracey Corderoy

Let the Thanksgiving feast begin!

During this book you can do the poses each time you introduce a new item from Thanksgiving dinner, or challenge children to do the pose each time you mention the item in the story.

You can also engage children to sing with you to encourage breathing and group participation.

Legs form a Thanksgiving pie!

Look up to swallow the cider.

She swallowed the entire roll!

Get down low to grow into a fat, yellow squash.

Gently sway back and forth as you get swallowed!

Take the salad, toss it up, and swallow it down!

She swallowed a turkey – give a little “gobble gobble!”

Fold over and put the lid on the pot.

Whoa – a ten layer cake!

Jump legs and arms out as you swallow some bread – you are so full!
