Twinkle fingers as snowflakes drift down.

Tip back-and-forth to the rhythm of “almost almost”.

The nests are soft and round.

Hands and feet make unique tracks on the ground.

Trees grow strong with tall bare branches.

Stretch one way to make the long fence, then the other way to make the long road.

Bridges over the streams help to bring everyone home.

Surrounded by friends, large and small.

We’re almost alike, but not quite.
