One, Two, Buckle My Shoe

Kids will exercise their bodies and sing-a-long to this easy to follow rhyming adventure.

Repeat this sequence several times, increasing the speed a little bit each time.

This challenging movement is fun for children preschool aged and entertaining for kids up through kindergarten!

One, two, buckle my shoe…

(cross the midline, elbow-to-knee, in rhythm to the song)

Three, four, shut the door…

(tick-tock, side-to-side, in rhythm to the song)

Five, six, pick up sticks…

(hand to opposite foot, stand, then switch sides, in rhythm to the song)

Seven, eight, lay them straight…

(jump feet together and hands straight to the sky, hold for this verse)

Nine, ten, a big fat hen!

(jump feet and hands apart, hold for this verse)

Nine, ten, here we go again!

(straighten legs, hands and arms twist back and forth for this verse)

Repeat – try to do it faster!
