Plank Pose


Increases core strength; strengthens hips, arms, and spine.

Step 1

Begin in Table Pose.

Step 2

Step one leg straight back, and then the other.

Step 3

Hold this pose for a couple of breaths.

Step 4

Release into Child’s Pose.


Plank Pose is traditionally a part of a Sun Salutation, but can also be performed on its own.
