Salamba Sarvangasana


Calms the mind, stretches shoulders and neck, strengthens the legs and core muscles, improves digestion.

Step 1

Lay on your mat, with your arms alongside your body.

Step 2

Bend your knees, and place your feet flat on your mat.

Step 3

Press your hands into your mat, and lift your feet up, as your bring your knees towards your face.

Step 4

Bring your hands to your lower back for support.

Step 5

Lift your knees up and away from your face, then straighten your legs up towards the ceiling.

Step 6

Hold this pose for as long as you are comfortable.

Step 7

Bend your knees back to your chest and release to laying on your mat.
