There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bell

Lucille Colandro

To encourage breathing and group participation, engage children to sing along with you!

For an added challenge, have children run through each pose at the last verse of the book!

Twinkle fingers down and say “jingle-jingle”!

Stretch out legs to create a big, velvety bow!

A nice big gift, that gets wrapped with a bow.

Stretch tall and wide to create the very big sack!

A shiny read sleigh to carry the sack full of gifts.

Grow reindeer antlers, tall and strong – remember to do both sides!

Think of a treat for the old lady, then whistle (or blow)…

…and take Santa for a ride!

Happy Holidays!
