There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves

Lucille Colandro

To encourage breathing and group participation, engage children to sing along with you!

For an added challenge, have children run through each pose at the last verse of the book!

Fingers twinkle down as the leaves float down.

Hands go up to put on the shirt!

The pumpkin rolls down!

The long, strong pole holds up the pumpkin.

Tip side-to-side to put on some pants!

Arms and legs sway, as the old lady ties the rope to the pants.

Swallow some hay, that makes you sneeze out… a scarecrow!

Happy fall!
