Wide Angle Side Stretch


Stretches the legs and upper body,  calms the mind, relieves stress.

Step 1

Sit on your mat with your legs straight in front of you.

Step 2

Spread your legs, so they are comfortably apart.

Step 3

Gently place one hand on your ankle.

Step 4

Bend at your side, and reach your other arm up and over your body.

Step 5

Hold this pose for a couple of breaths, then lower your arm and sit up straight.

Step 6

Repeat on your opposite side.
