Reverse Warrior is an amazing time to work on strength-building and personal growth! Warrior Poses are an excellent opportunity to incorporate affirmations, like “I am Strong!”
Use Reverse Warrior to improve balance, strengthen legs, and build core strength. Children will also develop their self-confidence, as they focus on their affirmations.
Begin in Warrior 2.
Keep your body open to the side, and lower your back arm down your back leg.
Bring your front arm up to the sky, with your palm facing behind you. Look up at your fingertips.
Hold this pose for a couple of breaths, then return to Warrior 2.
Repeat on your opposite side.
